The story of Ackermans & van Haaren began 150 years ago, in 1876, in the Dutch village of Kerkdriel. In 1876, Nicolaas van Haaren, a seasoned contractor known for his role in constructing the Moerdijk Bridge, joined forces with Hendrik Willem Ackermans, who came straight out of the Polytechnic School in Delft.
